It's really nice to have several of these different converters around to not limit your batteries based on a particular connection type. As always Horizon's products are always great and reliable. I continue to be very pleased with Horizon's products and service.

Product name is opposite of function
Review by Newflyer1 on 30 Mar 2020review stating Product name is opposite of function
The product title name 'Adapter: XT60 Device / EC3 Battery (DYNC0141)' IS OPPOSITE of it's function. It will connect an XT60 battery to an EC3 device. The wording further down is the ad states this correctly. This were not the product I needed. Also the wires are a lot longer than in the picture. The actual wires are 4" long. Picture looks like maybe 1-2".

Q: I need a connector from an EC3 Battery to and XT60 Device. That means the EC3 Connector must have MALE prongs to connect to the FEMALE leads from the battery. The XT60 plug must have FEMALE sockets to connect with the MALE prongs on the airplane. That is NOT what is pictured. Furthermore, I ordered and received (via Amaon) E-flite part number EFLAEC314 "EC3Battery to EC2 Device 1.5", 16AWG". It is NOT. It has a FEMALE EC3 connector and a MALE EC2 connector. The opposite of what I require. So, is this item an EC3 Battery to XT60 Device as described, or an XT60 Battery to EC3 Device as pictured?
A: The description indicates the connectors installed on the adapter. In this case the adapter has an XT60 device connector, and an EC3 battery connector. An example of its use would be to charge a battery with an XT60 plug on a charger with an EC3 output. Generally, the description will be of the item being sold, not its application.
