I've never broken one, I just feel that I need a spare set "just in case".

I broke a landing gear on my 350QX3 and bought this to replace (actually bought the tall landing gear). What anyone fails to tell you is that if you have the factory control wiring for the camera mount, it is impossible to thread the wires through the opening in the gear as the wire harness is too fat to fit through. I figured (incorrectly) that there would be a plug inside the body that I could undo and fish the wires out. That's only partly true! Two of the 3 wires attach to the board using a plug, but the third wire is soldered to the board! I find this out after removing about 30 screws to separate the body. Unwilling to apply heat to the main board, I went to google (should've done that first!) and found the preferred method is to use a Dremel-type tool to carve a slot in the leg to fish the wires through. I did this and it took about 5 minutes in total.

This is a truly bad design, from a replacement point of view. There is no info included with the part to alert you ahead of time.

Now, if you have no intention of ever using the camera wiring, you could just cut the wires off and this job would be a cinch. But I'm keeping the wiring intact as you never know what the future may hold.

Of course I undertook this effort after HH support hours had ended for the day. I should've called them first.
