The camera comes with hardware for mounting it on specific Quadcopters, but I used my camera with Velcro to attach it to my Super Cub. Good video quality (high res), but NOT high def. The unit is light enough to mount on the wing of my Cub without compromising lift or balance. Only one Con -> the video 'breaks' at 10 minutes and starts a new video file. Not a big deal if you have Movie Maker - you can splice / edit the videos together.

This is an amazing camera for 50 bucks. I had a little trouble getting it to record using the buttons on the camera, but, once I set up my Blade 200QX on my Spektrum DX9, all the issues disappeared. Turn the camera on with the power button on the side of the camera, then control it with the transmitter. You can assign the camera functions to any channel, but, I assigned it to the Bind Button (Switch I on the DX9). Press and hold the "I" button for 4 seconds to change modes, then once to start recording and once again to stop it. It makes really good videos. A little shaky while climbing and descending, but, holding the Quad in place at altitude or even moving while maintaining altitude makes some very good video with extreme detail. I've taken it up to 400 feet. (The 200QX is really small at 400 feet), but you can see for miles with very good clarity. You must upload the video to a computer to watch. USB2 isn't fast enough to watch it straight from the camera. I highly recommend the EFC-721 camera and the Blade 200QX platform!!!

This camera works great now that I have figured out what the problem was. It has surprisingly good video/picture quality for its size and I love how you can control this camera using your transmitter. I've noticed that this camera has a lot of pretty poor reviews but I don't believe it's the products fault. At first, every time I tried to make a video the camera would crash and turn off. Turns out these cameras only work with certain Micro SD cards. After buying a SanDisk 4GB Class 4 Micro SD, everything works fine now. Definitely recommended!

I was originally a little hesitant to purchase this camera because it was hard to determine from the posted reviews what some of the shortcomings/issues were. But I'm glad I did. For a beginner like myself it is a fine little camera that meets my needs. Plus for the price I had somewhat grounded expectations on what the capabilities would be. So if you follow the instructions carefully you will be pleasantly surprised. Now I need to reduce my yaw to prevent playback dizziness.

I have a lot of experience with this little camera now. Basically I mount this on micro airplanes with velcro. I initially got exposed to it with the 180QX quad. At the shop I used to go to, Pilotage in New York City, they would have some around as they were hit and miss with the quality hence the 3 stars but when you have a "good" one, it serves well.
I graduated from the 180 qx and pretty exclusively use the 200qx. On the 200 QX I carry a Mobius Action Cam which I wish Horizon would stock.
This EFC 721 however I use with the Sport Cub S and new UMX J-3 Cub mounted via strong velcro under the fuselage between the main landing gear. You can get pretty clear of the prop arc that way and have a great viewpoint. Still days the Sport Cub S is fine, a little wind and the J-3 handles it fine.
The video out of the pinhole lens is ok considering the size of the lens. A nice sunny day gives the best contrast over an overcast day. But I have had no strange lense marks.
They have survived a few crashes on cement #these planes don't crash too fast#. I use an 8Gig PNY or SanDisk chip. No issues. I just set to video at the start of the flight and turn it off when I get to the plane after it lands.
If you have waves or jelly effect, try changing your propeller #s# as unbalanced props buzz the aircraft a lot.

I have yet to see if my Night Vapor will lift this, I don't see why not if i use the 45c battery.
