Review by Toby T. on 29 Dec 2017review stating Great upgrade
This brushless upgrade is so much better than the stock setup. The perfect amount of increased power. It is so much smoother and seems quieter. It spins up smooth now with out that notchy motor magnets . Glad I bought it.
Would have given four stars for quality but the pinion was not pushed far enough on the shaft for the gear to line up. I just used a small vice and pushed the pinion all the way on.

Review by Sonny R. on 1 Feb 2018review stating Another Dud
First, the motor was months late for release. It arrives and the pinion isn't on the shaft enough. Only 1/4 of the pinion is touching the main gear. I flew it once to make sure it all worked (it had a slight shimmy to it)and took it back apart to fix the pinion, an easy job that takes 5 minutes. Only it didn't. I tried everything to get the pinion on more but it was stuck. The bearings in the motor are incredibly small and shouldn't be treated with respect. So I tried pulling it off with my pinion remover so I could sand the shaft and slip it back on. It was on so tight it broke my pinion remover. Not happy. Now, I've pulled off hundreds of pinions and never even had one give me a fight, they typically just slip off. Annoyed, I fixed my tool and tried again. This time it started ruining the pinion it was on so tight. Now the pinion probably needs to be replaced, if only I could get it off. Great. Well I got about 1 minute of flight time and need to spend more. More than the $200 I have into the heli already! More than my Blade 130s. Also, the extra control board has no place to comfortably go. You're supposed to double side tape it to the main board...which won't be free floating like it should be if you do. This, Im guessing was the cause of the shimmy. Everything was a huge fail in my opinion. $50 and it got used for 1 minute. I'm cutting my losses and will never spend another dime on this heli and hope I can recover 1/3 of what I've spent on Ebay. I feel inclined to add I used to actually run a hobby shop and have worked on hundreds of helis and thousands of cars/trucks for customers plus on my own things. I'm a very capable mechanic on r/c and full sized vehicles. This wasn't my first rodeo.
